Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Doctorfinetuner at doctorfinetuner.com (the “Service”). The Service is provided by TIER2 GLOBAL MARKETING SOLUTIONS AND CONSULTANCY FZCO, a free zone company registered with the International Free Zone Authority (IFZA), with its registered address at Building A1, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you have read our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms on its behalf and confirm that you are authorized to do so.
1. The Service
Doctorfinetuner turns documents you upload into training datasets for fine-tuning language models. We extract the text of your document, split it into passages and use third-party AI models to generate question-and-answer examples from each passage. You can download the results in several file formats.
2. Early access
The Service is in early access. We approve accounts one at a time, and during early access we add credits to approved accounts by hand. Features, limits, models and credit rules may change, and we may pause or end early access, or an early access account, at any time. We will try to tell you in advance about changes that significantly affect you.
3. Who can use the Service
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- The Service is for business and professional use. It is not intended for consumers acting outside their trade, business or profession.
- You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think your account has been compromised.
4. Your content
“Your Content” means the documents you upload, the project details you enter and the datasets, examples and other outputs the Service generates for you.
- As between you and us, you keep all rights in Your Content. We do not claim ownership of your documents or of the datasets generated for you.
- You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you, including by sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
- You confirm that you have all the rights and permissions needed to upload your documents and to let us process them, and that doing so does not breach any law, contract or duty of confidentiality.
- You must not upload documents that contain special categories of personal data (for example health, biometric or genetic data, or data revealing racial or ethnic origin, religion, political opinions or sex life), government identification numbers, payment card or bank account details, passwords, or personal data about children. The Service is not built for that kind of data.
5. Generated output
Datasets are generated by AI models and may contain errors, omissions or statements that are not in your document. Review them before you use them. We do not guarantee any particular result from a model you fine-tune with them, and you are responsible for how you use the outputs.
6. Google’s models
The Service currently generates datasets with Google’s Gemini models. Google’s terms require us to pass the following restrictions on to you, and you agree to them:
- you must not use the Service, including the datasets it generates with Google’s models, to develop models that compete with Google’s Gemini API or Google AI Studio;
- you must not attempt to reverse engineer, extract or replicate any component of Google’s services, including their underlying data or models;
- you must comply with Google’s Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy.
We may change which models we offer.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break any law or infringe anyone’s rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
- upload malware or anything designed to harm the Service, our providers or other users;
- gain or try to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts or our systems, or probe, scan or test their vulnerability without our written permission;
- overload, disrupt or interfere with the Service, including through automated access we have not approved;
- resell the Service or offer it to others as your own service without our written agreement.
8. Credits
Runs use credits. Before a run starts, we show an estimate based on the length of your document; the credits are deducted when the run starts. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money and are not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. We may adjust credits to correct mistakes. If a run fails because of a problem on our side, contact us and we will review it and restore credits where appropriate.
During early access, credits are added by hand. We will publish prices and payment terms before paid credits become available.
9. Our rights
The Service, including its software, prompts and design, but not Your Content, belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms give you only the right to use the Service as described here. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
10. Personal data in your documents
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data about you as a user. If your documents contain personal data about other people, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to process it and for your obligations towards those people. For that data we act on your behalf as a processor: we process it only to provide the Service to you, keep it confidential, use only the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, help you respond to requests from those people where we can, and delete it as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to close your account by writing to [email protected]. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, if your use creates a risk for us, other users or our providers, or if the law requires it. When your account is closed, your right to use the Service ends, unused credits lapse and we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will continue.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity;
- our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and USD 100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies.
14. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from Your Content or from your breach of these Terms.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue to use the Service.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not take away any rights you have under mandatory laws that apply to you.
17. General
These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another company, for example in a reorganization or sale of our business; you may not transfer yours without our written consent. If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it. These Terms are written in English; if we provide a translation, the English version prevails.
